Hey gang!​

Hear that its the bells of Nodenia ringing; you know what that must mean right?

That's right you guessed it, a tournament is happening soon!​

When:​

April 24th 2pm EST​

We are going to be running a​

National Dex Tournament​

Clauses/Rules:​

Most standard Smogon clauses will apply here:

• Species Clause: Players cannot have more than one Pokémon with any National Pokédex number.
• Endless Battle Clause: Players cannot intentionally prevent their opponent's Pokémon from fainting from PP depletion and Struggle recoil.
• Sleep Clause Mod: Players can not induce sleep on more than one of the opponent's Pokémon at once.
• Evasion Clause: Moves that boost evasion like Minimize, Double Team are banned. Same with items that have this effect this includes Brightpowder, Lax Incense.
• OHKO Clause: Moves that OHKO the foe (Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, and Sheer Cold) are banned.
• Dynamax Clause: Players cannot Dynamax their Pokémon.
• Ability Restrictions: Arena Trap, Moody, Power Construct, Shadow Tag
• Item Restrictions:

  Alakazite, Blastoisinite, Blazikenite, Gengarite, Kangaskhanite, King's Rock, Lucarionite, Metagrossite, Quick Claw, Razor Fang, Salamencite
• Move restrictions: Baton Pass

• This is the mechanics list and will also help you understand some rules, I recommend giving it a read Nat Dex mechanics
• Lastly this will be the resource you can use to make sure your team is legal day of tournament Pokemon Showdown, this will take you directly to the website for Pokémon showdown once there go into teambuilder, select New Team. From there input your team, once that is finished, once that is all said and done make sure the format in the top reads or is selected this. Then click the Validate option and it will confirm or deny your team is good.
